Above all, the city of Essaouira captures the “Blue Flag» title for the quality and dynamism it offers. Essaouira is the choice spot to hold an international event like the Kiteboard World Cup. The main competition will take place on Essaouira’s Beach from 02sd till 08th August 2007.

Essaouira benefits from North to South wind directions at 15 to 35 knots, perfect conditions for Freestyling, which is the major event of the Kiteboard World Cup. The Wave masters, an attractive wave riding event, will be held in Moulay. A fishing and seaweed harvesting village just north of Essaouira. Moulay’s beach break is famed for waves up to two meters high and swells rising from the northwest, west, and south.
